Embedded Home Appliance Controller

Control-panel electronics for a slicer, combining Start/Stop operation, three-speed selection and LED feedback in a 142 × 50 mm board.

Overview

This control-panel board was developed for a slicer. It provides Start/Stop operation, selection between three speeds and LED feedback through the appliance’s local interface.

Challenge

Fit the appliance’s operating controls and visual feedback into the available panel area. The task is a focused electronics and user-interface design: give the operator direct access to Start/Stop and three speed settings within the defined board outline.

What We Did

HTS developed the custom control-panel electronics and PCB arrangement for the appliance. The design brings together the Start/Stop control, speed-selection buttons and LED indicators in the required form factor.

Result
