A platform for temperature, airflow, product-weight and current monitoring, with automatic operation and MQTT remote control over Wi-Fi or LTE.

Overview

Smart Telemetry combines several equipment-monitoring and control functions on one board. It handles internal and external temperature, product weight, airflow and current-consumption monitoring.

The system supports automatic operation and remote control through a server using MQTT. A mobile application provides settings and user interaction, while Wi-Fi and LTE connect the equipment to external software.

Challenge

Bring several measurement channels, automatic operating logic and remote control into one embedded platform. The electronics and firmware need to connect sensor data to equipment behaviour and expose the relevant information to mobile and server software.

What We Did

HTS developed the telemetry/control electronics and embedded functionality, including multi-sensor acquisition, automatic modes and MQTT-based server communication. The design combines an STM32 controller, a 24-bit ADC, Wi-Fi and LTE with eSIM, and application-based configuration.

System

Measurement and control
Temperature, weight, airflow and current signals feed the embedded platform; firmware supports the specified automatic operating modes.
Communication
Wi-Fi and LTE provide network connectivity. MQTT carries the remote device-control communication through the server.
User software
Desktop and mobile interfaces provide access to the connected system, including mobile configuration.

Result

The resulting design consolidates equipment sensing, automatic operation and network communication in a single platform. It connects the local control functions to server-based commands and application settings.
