Smart Communication System

A connected audio platform that plays coordinated dialogue scenarios across several devices, with local audio storage and mobile-app configuration.

Overview

This audio platform enables several devices to play coordinated dialogue scenarios. Audio is stored locally, while a mobile application is used to configure the playback sequence.

The electronics combine Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication with an amplifier, speaker interface, SD-card storage and FRAM.

Challenge

Coordinate playback across multiple devices while keeping the audio content on the devices themselves. The system needs to connect mobile configuration, device communication and local playback within a compact board design.

What We Did

HTS developed the custom electronics and embedded device functionality for wireless communication, local audio storage and scenario-based playback. The board integrates the processing, memory and audio path needed by the multi-device system.

Result

The design combines local audio playback and wireless coordination on a four-layer board. It provides the embedded basis for a configurable multi-device dialogue system.
